hah...remind me of those ads that req. the designer to also be a html/flash/asp programer, a 3d artist, a multimedia artist and if you can photograhpy that would be a plus.
it only get better when they want you to be a expert in that particular area (ex. fashion or entertaiment, etc) that they work with, still they looking for a junior designer and will pay like 14 bucks an hour.
slightly insane.

If you wanna work for saatchi, ogilvy, or any of the other big guns...you better believe you are gonna have to be hot shit, and have a good handle on things.
Nothing on that job description was overboard or unusual for such a high-calibre position.
I'd give my left nut to be working at saatchi on some of their client list.
As an art director I would imagine, though not everybody's cup of tea, that working for such a prestigious company would be something of a goal.
I know it's mine.

acturlly...big firms usually have a team that work on a project. meaning you might do like 10% work on the sh. also most of the time its not as FAST PACE as a small firm as small firms can't take there freaking time for 4hours daily meeting and 4hours brainstorming. etc.
so, why do they ask for a shit load of stuff, then there acturlly will be more holiday there then on a small firm.
sure, its looks good on the resume. and its not for everyone.
ciao.

if you want to get rid on your left nut, let me have it, jevad.

What? They expect you to be good at your job! How terribly unreasonable.

As far as I have heard, working for Saatchi's in London is a nightmare, seperate offices, farmed intensely for ideas, no follow through onto the projects. Basically, they bleed you dry or so I have heard.

I worked with a creative director who started his career there. His opinion is, if you survived that, you can do anything. He's one of the best creatives I know, so I agree.
It is a great agency on your resume you know.
