I have a div with these properties:
position: absolute;
top: 0px;
left: 45px;
width: 875px;
bottom: 20px;IE reads all of those except for the "bottom" property.
why?
I also had a bunch of other divs and IE rendered all of the properties except for the the "bottom"s

i don't think you can specify both a top and bottom property in the same rule

I never use the "bottom:" property. If you're just trying to get some space between your div and the stuff that will come below it, then use margin-bottom:
