i think the customX was 600 last year... i bought it for 400. still pretty expensive, but i think i will be glad once i ride this coming season. it's 160cm. i just can't wait!
burton's new bindings all look really cheap. i'd like to try out 'fish' for a nice powder day.

my snowboard director always rides K2, he reps for them. Their stuff isn't to bad but i agree. it's k2... something about supporting a snowboard company.
just requested my burton catalog, say's it'll be at my door in a week.
They've got really nice catalogs. I get it mostly for the art and not the products. I've got the last few years

yeah, burtons binding have been rockin the bling the last few years.
160's perfect. my 05 rome anthem's a 161, we'll see what size's they get this year. I'm bringing all my boards, so everyone can try different stuff.
I talk to kcstock (From HGTV fame) about heading to CO this winter and he was down. We'll see if everyones schedule's link up. so i've got about 4 people in my group

To talk about the site for a moment:
Does anyone else think they dropped the ball this year. Last year's site was simple to use but still somewhat stylish. This one looks like a seriously rushed hodge podge of technologies and aesthetic directions. I'm pretty disappointed considering how much of an event the Burton.com launch uised to be. The 1999/2000 sites were inspirations for me to get serious about web design. I guess there's always next year...
But... I have a pair of powder skis to buy first but I think I'm grabbin' a Baron ES this year. If I had the patience to learn to Tele I would enter Lord of the Boards.

also, they put a lot of materials for kids. i think their main target is going to be 8-16 now. i think burton is trying to capture that market segment.
