if american apparel was made in guatemala, noone would buy it.

heche en guatemala

regardless of quality, any graphic tees i've had recently don't get worn that long before i sell or trade them off... the only ones that hang around until they die have been the solid shirts. i've always been partial to gildan or AAA, but american apparel's have been catching my attention lately, but then again i'm not paying full price because it's indeed absurd

the whole idea that buying american-made shirts instead of the 3rd world sweatshops' is pretty flawed actually, depending on the customers motivation. If it is to make jobs in America, then good for them. But if it is because it is predatory using 3rd world labor, it goes like this:
Now they have no job.

who cares that they're made in america... i'm just into the quality product.
an even bigger issue should be the image of the company and their creep ball CEO.
- mrdobolina0
isnt that whole thing behind AA? That they are made in america?
- ********0
Yea, I thought so.
Their cotton feels jersey like soft, and I don't get that from other brands (or haven't found it, except in thrift stores).
This kid I met a few months ago started a clothing company and he does nothing online, and from what I saw some of them alrite and he gets a dope wholesale from AA, so he is hooking me up with that deal.
Because I rock mostly solids, heh.
Though I do have a nasty amount of 'design' shirts.

yeah i mean, american made, living wage, etc... that's their platform, but whatev. the CEO is just way into banging ladies, giving promotions for blow jobs, not letting his workers unionize, and having a stupid moustache.
anyways, they make a comfy tee.

Its like its pre-washed, a screen printer friend told me they are kinda nightmarish to print on because they are fuzzy. you get lumpy layers.

I still have my flash drying unit for curing platisol, flav. I would have to relocate it to mamas garage but we could do some shit.
- ********0
I don't know what that means, but yes I would like to do some shit, haha.
Then again, I'm graphically retarded.
If we could make a shirt out of Cascading Style Sheets, I think we may be onto something.
- ********0
And by graphically retarded, I mean ... fuck I have like 3 weeks for the NTPE, haha.
- mrdobolina0
dynamic t-shirts... what a concept.
