I'm just off to meet the boss for lunch to tell him I'm fleeing the country at our busiest time of year. He's liable to crucify me so I'm wearing my steel gauntlets and reinforced leather underpants. Wish me luck!

Well... that's that. A few probing questions and a few 'off-the-cuff' remarks about lethargy & apathy and I'm now counting down to the 1st September.
I've just lost my 10-6 hours (back to 9am start) and I just lost 5 days of holidays. I don't think he's too pleased. We are already struggling with the amount of work we have on even the 5 weeks notice I've given still isn't enough time to seamlessly bring in a replacement.
19 days of work left. Boo-ya!

jpolk, for every 2weeks you work you get half a days holiday. so if only work half the year then I have only earned half the years hoilday quota.
I made this error when I left my last job and they actually deducted my paycheque because I had taken too much holiday off. Most of the design team left around the same time which did make me smile to see the bosses face then.
