my hair: advice

Ten years ago I had hair down to my ass (the "metal years"), then I was buzzcutting for years..now it's just kinda normal guy length. Should I grow it out again or buzzcut it? I want to do one or the other...thoughts?

I just buzzed my hair after having it pseudo-moppy for the past 3 years.
