Dont bother applying...they'll just unethically fire you by placing a cardboard box on your desk at 6pm (after you work a full day ) when the going gets tough, like they did to 80 percent of their staff back in the day.
not speaking from experience or anything. haha

3 threads today about razorfish and i still have no idea what the fuck it is.
nor do i care. getting older has it's benefits.

- madirish0

they used to be all the rage in web design during the dot-com boom. then they went down like all the others and got a generally shitty reputation.
that's just downright shitty with the cardboard box bit. at first i was totally against sending them a book once i graduate. then it looked like they turned things around, but were still more or less the same company. but now that you've posted that, i'm definately not going to send anything their way. =/

SugarButter,
that goes for soooo many agencies back when dotcom bubble collapsed.it's better than coming to work and your email, network connection totally cut off or you come in and the door is locked and can't get into the building.
it's just life. move on.

tk... marchFIRST? I had a friend that had that happen... she was suprised. But for the last month all she did was work on freelance stuff. Gotta see that shit coming poeple
- restlessdesign0
regardless. it's one thing to say "look, the company's doing bad and we can't afford to have you on anymore, so you have until the end of the week"
another thing to throw that on you immediately. companies KNOW when they're in trouble and to treat employees like that is irresponsible and unprofessional.

isn't there someone on here who works in the Philly office?
- tkmeister0
yup, marchFirst!
i didn't work there. but our office was 3blocks away.
i think at the place i was at, they laid off about 200 in 2months. and it happened on fridays always. i was hoping to get laid off but never happened. so i quit.
back then, i think there was a website called fuckedup or something that broadcast all the lay-offs on their site.
