PS - Mimio, sad as it is, I think you find that nearly every technology business does exactly the same. I almost guarentee that, for instance, the latest mobile phone nokia has released was created or at least the technolgy was available probably 6months to a year earlier, maybe even 2 years.
But I mean hey, if you invented the light bulb, and then five minutes later invented a much more reliable and energy efficent model - if you were a clever business you'd keep the better one secret and sell the original off first.

wouldnt happen in the pc world. This is why competition is good.

I don't know if you were aware, but Adobe, Logitech, etc (all of which make products for the apple - hardware and software) are not owned by Apple. What are you talking about?

Yeah Hench, I'm totally familiar with the concepts involved, I just think Apple just abuses their customers quite regularly as well as their developers. Adobe snubbed them back in retribution for having to carbonize their apps for the mac OSX twice then last year they announced the intel macs. What a slap in the face. As a company, they appear rudderless sometimes.

planet, the OS and the machine are apple products.
They have a shitty track record of supporting older versions of their OS, forcing users to buy the upgrade. It is almost predatory.

I got cheapest wired logitech and cheapest bluetooth logitech. Apple mice were always unusable for me and I mean unusable before mentioning single button issue yet.

logitech g5. i love it. you can add weight to your liking. nice and smooth.

i have a "wireless" wacom mouse... the great piece of shit only works on top of the tablet, what a great waste of technology
