last night when i arrived to my neihboorhood, on my block in front of my apartment, there was 3 firetrucks and a ton of
CoEdison Trucks and the street was closed off.the Transformer on the pole in front of my building exploded and all the wires caught on fire going down the entire block.
a half a block down the street, 2 transformers underground exploded causing 2 manhole covers to explode, and as they were under 2 parked cars, the fuel tanks in the cars exploded dissentergrating the cars to ash.
i have pics but i cant get it off my puter till i can charge the battery again.
the wires that were on fire were also pulsating with such a massive amount of electricity thaat they fused themselves to the streets and sidewalks...its a crazy site, reminds me of War of The Worlds with tom cruise when he walks out the house and see all the blood but the flesh that was shredded looked just like the wires that were shreeded and fused to the ground.
i have no electricity, no power and not sure when its going back on.
ConEd crews are stil lworking and when i spoke to them this morning they said they dont have any ides to when the power will be restored as the main circuit breakers were fried.
i did meet a few neighboors and we all hung out til like 2am piounding down pints at a pub around my block.
oh if any happy new yorkers want to put me up for the nights, i have a large bag of fresh buds.
