I know its totally cliche, but lately i've been inspired by ansel adams.
I was reading this guy's site:
http://www.kenrockwell.com/index…He's a really good and experienced photographer and he quotes ansel adams all the time on there. The stuff Ansel says is timeless. I really admire his commitment to learn and master a new medium to tell a story. I ordered his autobiography used on amazon for less that $5 including shipping. It should arrive today! I'll let you know how i like it, but Ken Rockwell seems to think it rocks.

I tend to like dark, (almost-gothic), death-related, beautiful, story-telling, disturbing yet thought-provoking photographs. Black and white is also pretty, even if there is blood.
Now you know.

Also, I don't have a preference in terms of past or future. I like both ancient-seeming pictures and futuristic ones.
