dude, modernism might be a movement in your textbook but it's what's going on around us all the time. it's the notion of everything new is good until the opposite is proven.

It's cool, Clerk, but the Modernist movement already happened.
BTW, I always thought that "it's the notion of everything new is good" is the Avant Garde more or less.
I'm no critic though. Just critical. And naive.

You know, in a few hundred years or so, Modernism and Post-Modernism, and all these other present -isms are going to be looked at as the exact same thing because, well, they are.
