Have there been any notable movements in art in the last 20 years? I can't really think of any other than a graffiti influenced illustrative style that seems to be widely used now.

i think in 20-30 years time we will look back on this time and see a lot of graphic design emerging as an art movement.

Hi seed, since I delve in art myself, I say the current movement points to “melting-pot” style. That means two or more style(s) are amalgamated to give birth to an avant-garde piece. I myself experimented in this direction too. Below are some examples, cheers.

I think Andy Goldsworthy has created something unique by using nature as his medium - sculpting/creating something from nature and letting nature have its way with it. the only thing that is left is beautiful photography.
