OMFG that just made my week.
Everyone who does not have it yet have it and is into this film (Republican, please just stfu before you even start) must go out and purchase Ian Mackaye's "Days of Dance". it just rules and documents beautifully the scene of hardcore origins here in DC.

Funny thing about this is that I was meeting with one of my clients about 1.5 months ago and somehow we got on the subject about music. Suddenly, he mentions this movie... and he proceeds to tell me about how when he was growing up, him and his friends started a band called Gang Green. I was totally blown away, because obvioulsy those "punk kid traits" left him long ago, and now he's a very successful, self employed businessman in his 40's.
