Please explain what we're looking at. They're great ads.
Did you create all of them? Are they real ads? How does the initial state of the site become a graphic that you can manipulate? What kind of technical restrictions did multiplayer.it have for you? (Flash version, file size, audio autoplay, etc.)

Its an online advert format, comes under many different names:

Giant/massive BillboardIt replaces the homepage as the first thing you see when you arrive at the site. After 20 seconds it then autoredirects to the real homepage.
Its actuallly a screenshot of the website taken into Flash and manipulated. So nothing very clever there I am afraid.

Versions in Flash 7 and 8 - (we delivery depending on your verison of flash using a sniffer)Yes I did all them, I have loads more too, but those are some of my favourites.

Though the idea of a 400k required-intro hijacking the page fills me with a peculiar, nauseous dread.

i still hate any fullscreen ads. it feels really intrusive. i'd close it within a sec before i see anything unless it's really really creative.
