i hope nobody thought this was about guns.
anyway, a photo pass to warped tour fell into my lap last night, so i'm pretty stoked. however, all the shows i've ever shot have been indoors. with warped, i'm afraid i'm going to get a crap ton of backlighting (depending on the time of day etc).
i could use some advice for if this problem arises towards the end of the day and the sun is nearing the back of the main stage... i'd feel like a goof shooting with a flash, especially due to how sunny it'll be. thanks in advance.

I'm no pro, but i wouldn't be embarrased to use a little fill flash. I've seen it done many times before in broad daylight and in my experience it can make better photos when used correctly.
If anything, maybe all the kids around you will think you got skillz cuz you bust out the flash in the daytime.

not really sure what the answer is but using a fast lens might help (2.8 - 1.2 aperture)
