Flash 8 MacIntel Player

Does anyone know if there's a release of the Flash 8 Standalone player specifically for Intel based macs. I need one to replace the standalone player used when you do "Test Movie".
At the moment it runs at 4fps on a 2.16Ghz MacBook Pro with 2Gb or ram..

there was a plug in that u can download and it makes flash run as fast as it does on a pc!!! it is about time!!!!

yeah, i got the plugin for safari/firefox, but i want that same player to be used in the authoring environment, any ideas?
