craigslist is always a good place to start for places to live.
Unfortunately, I've never really found anything good for it in Pittsburgh ... and have about 2 weeks to do so, heh.
Online newspapers should have Real Estate Ads as well, it's the Chicago-Tribune rite?

Love it. Moved from Texas almost 5 years ago and it has been the best.
Winter will be nothing new to you.
Such a great city, everything you could possibly need, you can do just fine with no car, something I totally love.
