powerbook pro ?????

ok i have a question and need some advice on what you guys might do ... i have a powerbook g4 that went to apple for repairs and due to some problems there offering me getting a new powerbook pro to replace it, right now i know alot of people are having problems with updates / slow performance but once adobe releases the updated versions late next year the performance will be faster on the programs im guessing, so would you wait to get your older powerbook back and then buy a new one in a couple years when its too slow or get a powerbook pro when you can trade up ?

just been pondering the same - take a look here and see benchmark tests.
Adobe CS - its real slow - but you'll be real fast when the the universal comes.out.

I mean, even if you dont want the slower CS, you could sell the brand new pro, and get another g4 and pocket the cash.

i was thinking about getting it selling it and then buying a older g4 but i dont like to buy used just because you never know how it was treated .

i got the macbook pro. brand new. it's lighting fast.
haven't done any major stuff with cs yet but still... it's blazing fast.
-blazing hot too but i can handle that.

ive used one temporarily and the keyboard on them get quite hot !
