Ok so we know stock price is tied to growth.
http://money.cnn.com/services/ti…aapl is as 59 today, where do you see apple expanding to.
I see iTunes n Movies, More ipods being part of business/life culture with podcasts and what not. More laptop sales because you can have windows & OSX.
Plus people getting new ipods due to life cycle events.Where else you see them expanding into?

Media Center, HD Video delivery through Itunes, maybe take on Netflix, broadcast etc.

A movie/clip equivalent to iPhoto would be the next logical step I think. The .mov's, .avi's and .mpg's are piling up on people's hard drives without any really good ways to view them.
- Mimio0
That would be cool, like a video capture organizational app that would behave like Aperature.

i am not sure where they gonna head to. but i am thinking to sell all my shares in a year or so. i think the bullish growth is over for them. hopefully with holiday sale and new product launch, it'll go back to 70-80 by the end of this year.
too much hype around this company, i think it's too volatile these days. i'll re-evaluate later this year.
- tkmeister0
oh, with apple partnership with japan's softbank, there'll be more mobile phone related content/products offering coming.
but that won't happen for a while.

I agree that I think it will go to 70-80/share during xMas. Not sure if I want to buy or look at other things. It's up today... But i've been seeing a lot of hype about them and if I could catch a quick 10/share thats good in this market.
I would sell right after xMas.

it's a good buy now. i should have sold my shares at 80 and bought them back today. but now, i am just gonna hold on to it. it's down about 20% this year.

they're gonna buy Adobe.
*drops bomb and runs for cover.

what's this about Apple buying Nintendo?
- mayo0
i thought i heard something about getting into the whole HD tv thing or something like Moxie/TiVo?

down to 56 today. i'd say it's a good buy. 12mo target price of 72. that's about 30% profit if it meets the target price.
volatility is really high, so there is a high risk involved. i guess it all depends how well they do in august wwdc. also there's so much hype, law suits, product problems, etc. who knows...

I love apples.
Johnathan apples are my fav.

Totally agree. OS 10.5 Leopard is supposed to be previewed at wwdc so i'm sure the stock will jump a bit around that time. The mac Laptops are getting good reviews:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/1355…But i think its going lower. the mutual funds need to show investors that its got the right stocks. So they are all buying stocks that are going up in this market. Which aapl is not. So I think it will dip a bit lower in the next couple weeks. if it goes to 50 i'm going to pick some up.
- tkmeister0
if it drops to 50, yeah, definitely. but i'll cry like a bitch because i already own a lot of share! i can't wait till it hit the target price of 70s back where it was early this year. if it hit 80-90, i am out. it seems like everyone is trying to drag apple down, not worth the hype.
- twooh0
i'm hurting big time too. once it hit the 55 mark today, i almost panicked. but you can't get sentimental about it...
- tkmeister0
a positive financial report.
- motokiss20
maybe mac will get into the video game industry. Ipod/game boy type thing. The all in one portable media center
cell phone, organizer, video game console and mp3 player.
- kyl30
on a side note, aperature wasn't a photoshop rival, it's a workflow app and adobe shadowland is its competition
- kyl30
acrobat needs to go head to head with word and excel
