yeah, scottrade offered it at 120 at about 10:30 I'm moving some cash in now. so i can make some moves. I hope it settles in the next few days. I'm sure people will take some profits in a few days, and I can maybe catch a dip.

120 is too high. IPOs are so hot these days again.
i am keeping my eyes on anything related to china.
- joyride0
120 is high, but there is already talk about merging with another exchange. So I've added it to my watch list.
Citigroup just won the bid for China-based Guangdong Development Bank. But C is a big player and pretty tough to move.
- tkmeister0
yeah, citi is too big.

i am watching these stocks carefully to see if when would be a good entry point.
PCU
HMIN
WYNNi am fucking pissed i didn't get WYNN. it's been going up crazy the past 2wks.
i am debating if i should take the money out from 5% saving account to my trading fund. i can make 5% up in a week in this bullish market.

I LOVE THIS THREAD!
- tkmeister0
well, you wanted to know my secret, right?
HMIN tanked a bit last week. so it could be a good entry point. but i want to get in if it dipps under 30.

do you invest all your money? or you keep some cash reserve in a saving account?
- mpfree0
I invest 22.5% of what I make per month. That's a pretty penny to an extent. However, I do it automatically. It's taken out of my account.
I listen to my friends that work as brokers. haha It's worked and not worked. LOL, I've made money and lost a lot.

tk, I'm setting up a Service Industry company. I have a connection for 'Commercial Cleaning' contracts. However, this needs to be set up correctly. No holes. VC, bonded employees, contracted salesforce group, etc. no small task. there's a future in it though. lot of headaches and BS politics when it comes down to it but my father has been in the industry for 20 years. he just didn't market it correctly.

i'd rather set up a hedge fund...
- mpfree0
haha yep. Assets under management of the hedge fund industry totaled $1.225 trillion at the end of the second quarter of 2006 according to the recently released data by Hedge Fund Research Inc. (HFR).

at least with this corporate entity I'm setting up I can claim bankruptcy and they can't take shit from me.
Even with VC money. Ahhhhh.. our legal system loves me ;)

HMIN is a tough one. trading at it's high. for sure look for a dip when people start taking profits. Nice pricepoint though. Adding that to my watch list.
WYNN - why is that taking off.
Any casino with global expansion might be a good trade. Dubai is going off, and some place in china is starting to come up as an eastern vegas, And with a 1Bil Chinese - thats looking niceStill not sure about GRMN. Trading near the high. Might catch a few points for the holiday sales, but I don't think i would keep it in 07.
- tkmeister0
HMIN is good at 28-29 if it dipps that low.
if you can catch wynn at down point, it could be good. i am starting to pay attention to more technical analysis.
http://www.thebulltrader.com/200…i bought GRMN at 47. not great entry point, but already returned 5% gain. they came out with the new marine lineup so that may gain the market share even more. i am hoping 60 for the 12mo target price.
- joyride0
Only thoughts on GRMN and marine stuff is, with a predicted downturn economy for 07 boat sales and accessories might be similar to the housing market. Since bigger boats are more like 2nd homes.

CNBC Now!!!
8-9 show on warren buffett and no not jimmy!
- tkmeister0
i watched that warren buffett show. i liked it. he's so modest for a billionaire.
i'd need read some of his books. his berkshre stock is too expensive though. may not worth $100,000, even class B is like $3000.

It's guys like him that I give a lot of respect too. Never making the lil' guy feel little. He's a rare one indeed.
But I've always truly believed in his investing guide. you invest in the people. If you're investing in the company they must be doing something good, so let the people continue to do it. Don't force new things if what they are doing is good. To many companies fuck things up in mergers.
