agreed, dinky, but it's one of those words that has many connotations. when it's cold, people say it's nippy too, which refers to one's nipples getting hard. that was part of my bad joke.
it's kind of like when I one time said in class, "it's the chink in the armor." at first i had to question it but that's actually how the phrase is used. at the same time, "chink" is a horribly offensive word in another context.

i usually dont say nippy but rahter poke at the nipple and say 'ding dong'
i guess it depends on who you say it to. amongst westernized asians in certain cases, they say nigga this nigga that. but at work, this girl, who was asian and was saying nigga out of hip hop context with out realizing that one of the guys at the meeting was a black guy. it took a while for her to realize what she said and asked if it was ok.
the words can be used in many context rather it be racial or not but i guess it just depends when you say it in presence of who.

I agree actually. People who are a mixture of things (ie. probably known as 'exotic') are really beautiful...a lot of the time.
