gee and her matamelon:
Gee was walking home from the beach and came across a fruit vendor on the street, from whom she bought a 10 lb. matamelon.
After walking for a while with the melon, she was like, "pfff! F this!" and hid it in someone's yard. She came back later with her car to pick it back up. was it still there?blaw, we were just walking around on our last day there. For some strange reason both Ralph and I looked up and we saw a gallery. This guy's work was in it. The gallery owner was constantly praising the artist until his assistant whispered to us, "It's his son."
Our painting is called something like "the new shadow" or something

as a teenaged paperboy one morning one of my stops had a dumptruck full of watermelons in the driveway. apparently heading out to sell along a highway the driver asked if i wanted one. kind of a nice tip to the early rising paperboy.
as gee will atest, those buggers get heavy in short order, but my skinny body lugged it the whole way home.
finally, relief in sight, i made it to the top of my parent's backyard, took one step onto the dew-soaked grass, slipped and smashed the watermelon to pieces.
i haven't liked watermelon since.
