06 is better
3 pages for a resume is way too much. it should never be more then one sheet (double sided if you HAVE to)
also, this is a resume, not a portfolio, do not put portfolio pieces on it.

thanks for the comments, they are really great and will help a lot. I think for now i will keep working on 06 version but will need a cv tomorrow so i'll just send the 05 version.
thanks

I like 06. I agree with most of the suggested changes, but I HIGHLY recommend a 1 page resume.
Most employers will print out your resume and put it in a pile with a bunch of other ones. You wouldn't want them to lose a page of yours, and it's just easier seeing it all on 1 page. I think with resumes, less is more.

Two notes on 06:
You use 3rd person (bio) and 1st person (objectives). That looks funny. Also, sometimes you abridge month names and sometimes you don't (if you stick to the first 3 char rule, make "Sept" "Sep". (don't forget you mention your attention to detail)

i think the 06 CV has a more interesting structure & approach to common CV info, esp. for a designer, but talking about yourself in the third-person looks detached and maybe a bit pedantic (don't take it personally, it's just a prospective feeling). That distance also conveys a professional reflection on what you do, and that may be useful. maybe you should have 2 presentation versions based on your 06. A more personal one (I did) for smaller younger companies and a more detached one (Edvin did) for the big corporate ones.
just my op.

maybe a couple of samples of work, just real small, but a kinda teaser?
I have three tiny bits on mine and I like the way it breaks it up and creates intrigue (i hope)

the second. i like traditional vertical resumes as they are much easier for me to read as that is what i am expecting when I am opening a resume file. the information is presented clearly and expectedly.
but it does look that you could have it entirely on one page. the section INFORMATION seems to O P E N, almost like you are trying to fill in space. perhaps if you notched up the type faces a point or two will help...
get rid of the blue highlighted text... it is difficult to read serifed and monospaced serifed fonts that way...
your objective seems to run-on and on and on... us a comma before the AND while listing (despite what the ny times and others are doing these days)
nice and clean while only needing a few touches,..
i dream of dying in banff. i only made it to glacier national park here in the states. i hope to venture into the canadian rockies as i can only imagine their majesty.
peace.
