I buy $3 tees from thrift stores. I know I'm not going to really see anybody else wearing the same one.

(Jun 16 06, 10:10)I hate that too. I saw a contestant on Canadian Idol wearing a shirt that I have, and just went 'oh dear'.

get over yourself and your shirt
everything else should fall into place

I used to get flowed free stuff from Supreme and hock it on ebay. Kids today will buy anything to be "cool".
On a couple occasions I managed to sell t-shirts that were originally $28 for $100.I've populated my drawers with blank tee's from uniqlo for $5 each. And thanks to mrdobolina and others I've been having fun silkscreening prints on them, as horrible as they may look.

i wish i had the time and energy to just print my own tees.
all the shit i buy looks like something i'd design anyway.

i'll spend more the $30 on a tee... if it's art.

(Jun 16 06, 12:31)that's the work of James Carl, canadian sculptor. usually makes art out of cardboard or coroplast. was smart enough to make a really good t-shirt. nice right? :)

I wonder how many tee shirts the average NTer has
- flavorful0
Hahaha .... like ... 40 / 50?
Probably more.
I don't like doing laundry so I just continually buy new ones.

Knowing full well the production cost, I find it ridiculous to sell a t-shirt for more than $10-15 each.
