cabo fucking rules - full stop. cheap food...great bars...boats...sun...sand...frie... people...and not a lot of college kids if you hit the right places.

skip cabo - it's virtually an american territory.
go north to todos santos.
pretty much the most beautiful unspoilt beaches in the world.

Cabo San Lucas is unfreaking believable. My wife and I went there for our honeymoon a year ago and not a day goes by that I don't want to go back. Great resorts, beaches, food, tequila, night clubs, repeat.

i went last october. best place ever. good prices. beautiful we stayed just outside cabo 15 minutes by car. fiesta americana. great deal.

cabo is dope as hell. been going since i was a wee lad and still love it everytime.
inexpensive, great food, beatiful as hell and laid back. 8.5 out of 10 in my book.

Cabo is not worth it. Western tourist trap. you can go get drunk at a bar anywhere...
Rent a car, drive north. As far as you can. look for good surf off the coast, choose a dirt road, go fast and try not to get stuck, arrive at a beach with no one for miles. 25 cents will buy you a whole chicken prepared for you on the side of the road. And I agree, Todos Santos is beautiful and worth it.

I would also agree - Todos Santos is awesome. But they guy has been invited to Cabo - and was asking if it was worth going.
The answer to that question is yes. It isn't quite Cancun...there is still a lot of culture there - and it's a really lovely place.

Cabo is great. If you like to surf, eat, fish, drink margaritas, lay in hammocks by the sea of cortez, golf, snorkel, or just relax in general.
go. you won't regret it...
ah.. mango crepes from mamas cafe after surfing....
if you are not into super touristy type of stuff, check out san jose del cabo as well.
