That's the bit that sticks in my head, having used the D70 for quite a while, is a Canon going to 'do my head in' until I'm used to it?

the 'upgrades' on the 30d from the 20d are not worth the extra cost. info from a photographer friend of mine a little while back.

pick canon or nikon, either is great.
pick a budget.
go slightly above said budget.
i just got a 30D, canon - pretty much the same thing as a 20D. it = cool.
