Hi, I'm looking for any examples of a style guide for a website. Something that lays out how far this element is supposed to be from that one, column width's. Spacing for logo treatment. Type sizes and for what. Something that's built for standardization and consistency.
Thanks.

isn't it pretty rare that an interactive agency would design styleguides for a website and then release it out into the world for other agencies to follow? maybe a template or something...
it's not like logo usage or print templates where it makes sense for multiple agencies to be involved with creating materials...

A template would be great, I'm looking to write one (new to me) for a fairly large site and a couple of examples on layout and flow would make me feel more at ease.

I guess you'd need to clarify: are you looking for general design guidelines for creating a website, or are you trying to create guidelines for someone else to implement a website design that you've created?

I'm looking for a good layout of a style guide so that I can document a web site design that I'm currently working on.

I am making one from scratch at the moment that is web based with a CMS so that the UE team that I'm on can all add to it once we have decided on various style and UI standards.

seed,
sounds cool, sort of the boat we are in, trying to decide on standards and needing a place to get them down that makes sense. perhaps I'll pitch the idea.Thanks.

Here's a style guide I used when I did some work for Aventis (a pharmaceutical company). It's pretty comprehensive covering navigation, typography, colors, page layout, etc.
Enjoy.
