As someone who's never sent a birthday present on time, ever, i'd like to say that as long as you get a print, even if it's two years later, it's cool by me.
Just think of it as a nice time-delayed surprise, like finding a $20 bill in some skanky old jeans you haven't worn in a year.
Yeah it's not terribly professional and you shouldn't do it on purpose, but this is extracurricular, so as long as you get around to it, i'm cool. But you HAVE to get around to it.

very true.
i tried to make it clear that the deadline is not all that hard and fast in the address page.but without fail this madness goes down every year. you guys know i love you all, but hearing this mess bums me out. as more days pass it seems to be more about what we havent got rather than the goodness we have.

Seff: that print, tube and business card was awesome!! That is 4 color silkscreen?
I framed it immediately. 16*20 frame, speckled talc matte. It looks really nice.

i have a pretty simple set up
basically it is my dad's old butcher block cart. i think its like 4' x 2.5'
i screwed 2 hinges on the backside and use c-clamps to attach the screen to the hinges. not too complicated. but there is some wiggle in it so the registration isnt perfect.. but who needs perfect registration in a screen print anyhoo, right ? !

i've made buttons for 10 years or something since middle school. its easy cash and useful on projects.
so what you've been doing your thing since the mid 90s. so what you put tons of cash and effort into NTPE1. i wasn't involved, so i'm not going to give you a reacharound over it.
stop being an old jaded grampy with a sandy vagina over this. its not a huge client. it's NPTE. it's casual.

that was me, and you can still get em on ebay. i think they still make them in japan.
supplies are sort of hard to come by tho and are getting more expensive.

how long will one of the screens last? can you do a long run on them?

i've done runs of around 100 before, and they work well. if you put the screen in a plastic bag and throw it in the fridge, it'll keep for like three days before it starts to gunk up.
but i think i'm over the gocco, they're a nice entry-level printer, but very limited, especially size-wise. i want to move up to a big boy silkscreen now.
