room and board is a fuckin rip off man...nice stuff...but the mark-up is like 200% there...save your money! They have quite a lot of their stuff made in Indo for about 3 scheckles.

nice sofa tho....I'd go with something from west elm...dropping 1.5g's on a sofa seems a little much...

I wasn't saying it was bad quality - the stuff coming out of indo is sweet. But I have a friend who imports furniture from Indo - and he's said that he knows buyers from R&B, C&B, Scandanavian Designs, and others, who regularly get stuff from there...not everything...but some beds, sofa frames etc...
It's stilla horrible markup even if that weren't true. 2K for a fucking sofa? leave it out...

damn it, i am all confused now.
i personally wouldn't buy a sofa without actually sitting on it. hmmmm...
i thought paying 1-2k for a nice sofa is reasonable, esp if you gonna keep it for the next 10yrs.
all those places are about in that range. i could designed it myself and get it build. but that'll cost about the same or even more.

the thing about designing it yourself is it fits right where you want it

it may spark a creative output of other furniture

i'm looking for a sofa but what i want is so damn specific i'll probably never find it.
but just in case... anyone know of a sectional sofa (long side and short side) without arms that comes in a meduim gray?

Go for the Klein from Room & Board. Way more modern and cool than the one from Crate, which is a bit more on the traditional side.
