print is really strong, not so sure about web, or rather the really usable corporate end. Flash rules, far as I can see. They are a little behind the US/UK in terms of pushing the accessability thing etc. My perspective is limited though, has to be said

I have seen more really arresting really colourful print stuff here in 2 1/2 months than I saw back home in a year I reckon. They really like big bold clean typography too, which surprised me a little...

Had they paid more than €12K/junior, €18K/senior, all designers would've moved there.
Some foreigners with steady freelance links back home live there, probably one of the best living ideas ever conceived by homo sapien.

we opened up out here, same rate as I get back home - I know another guy who's out here freelancing for UK/US clients, he does ok but rafalski speaks the truth far as I'm aware for indigenous designers :( poor fuckers.

Barcelona is lush, i lived there for a while, sonar rips, vasavara are a good design studio, pays not so good but the city makes up for it, so good...
Learn spanish and you'll rockin it, 300 days sunshine too...I might move back.
