i bought my very first ipod yesterday. i must say the quality is amazing!
it's only a shuffle but i bought it to connect it to my new soundset, which has an usb port on the front and crazy deep sounds, and an odd 80s retro hifi look. luv it.

Only problem I have is with the headphones, they don't like you falling asleep with them in your ear.

was also thinking of wearing it in the shower.

my one lasted exactly 4 days short of one year, which was handy, as it was still under warranty, I'll get a refurbed one in 4 weeks or so which will again come with a 12 month warranty.

a girl i met told me a story about how she managed to have music in her old beat up car by placing a beatbox on the dash .. at every turn it would slide side to side so she'd have to monitor it a bit but the story made me really like her.
ipods are gay imo. i honestly don't want that much music at my finger tips. i enjoy situations where you have to work a little harder .. fosters appreciation. i.e. buying old records or an actual cd.
but fact is, all portable drives are prone to break b/c they aren't usually taken care of in transport.
