wow that's nice.
I really, really like it - that's exactly what Flash was made for.
Congratulations!

great functionality, with some nice work... I would lose the green stuff on the sides though, I think it would be a lot cleaner if it was just black or white... imo.
Good stuff.

some nice interactions
i say ditch the green background tho

Thanks for the feedback. The bg is actually the pattern I use on the cover of my book, so I was trying to tie it in. Perhaps, it's better suited as a book cover.

nice work - refreshing after all the Minimal single page portfolio's I've been seeing.

hey matt -
i really like where you're going with the navigation - it's more original than a lot of stuff i've seen recently. sorta reminds me of periscope at the get-go, but internally, it's enough outside of that to be legit.
simplification seems to be the theme of the day, so that's where i'm going to go...
- the tie-in of the green bg is conceptually interesting, but i interviewed you, and i don't recall the connection.
- the metaphors (etchasketch, printer...) are cool, but are feeling a bit heavy for some reason.
- look to the simplicity and logic of your original nav and figure out why that's working so well. applying that to the secondary areas will likely help toward achieving a nice balance of form and function
- flatten some color and other elements. you do nice work - let it speak for itself.
if i think of anything else, i'll just walk over to your desk and tell you...
