After years of practise, tonight was the night when I finally finished the last mission.

i just remembered how fun it is to rip it on that sport bike with the number on the side
ohyea...if anyone doesn't know....when you're on a bike...push the control stick forward a bit to tuck in and gain extra speed

I don't actually have 100% but I finished all the missions. Man that last one was hard when you had to learn to fly that attack plane.
I still have a shitload of places to tag with my gang color, but right now all I do is pick up hookers on taht ultra fast bike you find in the garage on the mexican turf and drive like an idiot between cars.
Does anybody know anything about a new GTA?

once I finished I loaded some cheats, so I can recruit everyone I wanted and start gang fights everywhere..

i completed 98% of the game, i did everything possible cept that crap mission with the remote control airplanes that is just ridiculous.
fav time in the game is base jumping with a motocycle and paraschuting or just endless motocycling in the valley or country.

I just remembered - I am not 100% authentic, I cheated my way through the nerds' missions. There was no way in fucking HELL I could manage those rc plane missions, especially the one where you stood on the roof with the mini gun or where you had to fly and help that mini tank make its way through that little landscape without cheating.

It's just amazing how the game has evolved over the years - I was so hooked on Gta 1 ..the one where you looked down from above, I could play for days straight just cruising around in my Porka Turbo. There may be other games with more work behind them, but I seriously doubt there are any others with more thought and plot. I mean, just the gimp suit missions in SA, how fucking awesome are they?

i think i almost cried at one point
unlike vice city, i think san andreas can be won with cheats...as long as they are only health cheats or ammo cheats (i think...not 100% positive on that)

I played for a long time without the cheats, then used all the cheats and spawned the harrier jet at will. Flew it around, blew up a bunch of shit until the Police launched their own plane to kill me.
Then I'd jump from the plane and spawn a parachute. Very cool. You can actually do the needle dive while free-falling. Then open the parachute and try my best to get away. Once the Police plane shot a missle at me while I was parachuting down. It was crazy.
Now I want to go back and play again.

I gave up on Supply Lines too. Worst. Mission. Ever. Just be thankful it wasn't a required mission...
The next GTA should be released for PS3 and Xbox at the same time, which is a nice change. I can't wait to see what they do with the extra power of the new systems since they were already really pushing it on the PS2. Should be a blast.
