Clone macs?

I have a new mac and I have an old mac. I want to move everything over - is there a way (or an app?) to have everything the way it was on the old one in terms of email, music (playlists etc), ical appointments, address book and stuff like that?
Surely designerror must know this! Yes?

No, I am moving from G4 to G4.
Picked up the last rev. G4 17" to replace the one with tire marks on it.

there's a way to hook them up with firewire and transer everything.

dont remember if the new one will prompt you on OS install or not but I think thats when it happens. not sure about the tiget, panther, cuddly kitten thing

d'oh, both have OS already installed. There really should be an app for this kind of thing! I'd gladly pay.

Run Application/Utilities/ Migration Assistant and follow instructions, it will do everything for you.

make a firewire connection between the two, you won't see anything but a firewire logo on your screens but then it moves your whole system/softare/prefs/mail etc. over..
it's supereasy, but make take a while..

for applications that "phone home" like adobe applications, does that count against the number of time you're authorized to copy them?

salisae - you should know, it comes with a danish keyboard, has swedish settings and start-up sound is the norwegian national anthem. (actually the first two are true)

I could use a laptop with danish keyboard layout.. Ship it to the icecube asap
