Going up at 4.20 AM to drive somebody to the airport sucks. I am now back and I can't go back to sleep because then I would sleep till noon and screw up my routine.
So very tired.

... i've been battling the 'routine' deal too - all night.. watching the sun come up... falling asleep around 10am and waking up just as the sun is going down... (that's if I finally got to sleep)...
... you got on some medication too... how's that working?

They work if I don't use them every day, thanks for asking :) I suppose your body just gets used to them and rejects it.
I think it all comes down to your mind though, at least for me, because I don't really have a problem sleeping on weekends, knowing that it doesn't matter if I'm a little tired when I don't have any big plans or projects I need to focus on.
It's weird.

Not as bad as waking up at 3am to catch a flight like I'll be doing tomorrow. At least there's always sleep time on the plane. Either way, I hear ya jox. Tired.

I hate having that conversation on the road when my friends go "oh my god, this is gonna be so EXCITING, i can't wait till we check in and start exploring the city. Do you have the boarding passes? I wonder what in-flight movie they're gonna show. I hope it's hot there. I really neeed this vacation". when I'm having trouble staying in my lane. Fuckers! Haha

As far as not falling asleep right now - may I recommend a tall glass of cold water and quick walk or run?... then hit the shower like it's a new day - get's me out of the funk almost everytime.
