Thats rad...maybe they're having trouble getting money because less disease = less money pharmecutical/health care industry. It's like automobile maufacturers funding research for alternate forms of transportation. Maybe Im just being way to cynical...

A company here in the US called Genentech was doing some similar research but is hasn't panned out.
