did you work out why you erased 6 days worth of images on your digital camera when in barcelona on the last day ?

ha.. yeah. forgot about that. I think it comes under the heading - incompetence.

I borrowed a video camera from uni for some multimedia project, but took it up N'land to film a day out I and some friends had instead.
Thing is, we very quickly got wrecked and played around the sand dunes etc, and - stupid stoner that I was/am - I left the camera in my backpack, with an unsealed carton of orange juice, which of course went everywhere.
When I noticed the orange leaking from my bag, I set it down on the beach to check the camera.. which of course then got covered in sand too.
it took me AAAGES to clean all the sand/ icky orange from the components, but it was all for naught - the thing was fucked.
My success at uni continued in a generally downward spiral from there..

Balls to that. I spent 2 years and 6 months loafing, then in the last 2 months taught myself quark, ps and ill and started to get some work done!
