Why isn't Jack's hair longer? Haven't they been on the island for a few months now?
- Jnr_Madison0
Because it's not real.
- CincodeMayo0
OOOOOOOHHHHH! That explains a lot...so there's no 80's themed apartment under the dirt of a deserted island anywhere? Damn, I was just gonna look on Orbitz and see how much it'd cost to get me there.
- Jnr_Madison0
I'm sorry I ruined it for you.
- CincodeMayo0
And why no beard? Why aren't the women's legs hairy (on the show, not in the UK)?
- Jnr_Madison0
I only watched a couple of shows but I guess they are in a purgatory/limbo sort of situation.
..and eveyone knows that mens faces and womens legs don't grow hairs in this situation.
- quamb0
they shave. and cut their hair. they also bathe and all that pizazz.
- CincodeMayo0
So if they're in purgatory, then the 80's room could also be called the Disco Inferno?
I'll be here all week. Tip your server.
- winter0
hair stops growing when you continuously brush your teeth with cocoanuts, that's why. silly kids.
- chrisRG0
if you pay close attention you'll see that in some episodes shows some of them cutting the hair, shaving, etc...
but i'm trully frighten about the new 'jesus' that you'll born, because Sun (the japanese girl) got pregnant withou sex! just like mary! omg wtf!!!!
- Engage0
plus its not like they just go live there for an hour every week
- blastofv0
anybody know what's up with that 'foundation' (can't remember the name)...but they were credited in the show as the group behind the whole set of experiments on the island...
...and now there are these vague commercials for the same group, with a URL, that run on each episode...
anybody know anything about this?
- CincodeMayo0
THEY DON'T? So you mean they actually LIVE on this island? Damn, sucks for them. They need to shave.
- mg330
Man, you guys need to go to another message board and get caught up on the show, or visit one of the wikipedia sites.
No offense blastofv, but if you can't remember that name you've got much catching up to do!
Message Board, one of the better ones:

none taken dude, and I just checked google and remembered why I haven't gotten more into the fansite stuff...it's all over the place (hanso).
no time for all that
- mg330
I'll agree with you there.
There are two types of people who watch this show:
1) The casual viewer who only watches the show and reads the occasional article that pops up in mainstream media. Forms their opinion of the show strictly through what the show provides.
2) The Lost super nerd, watches the show, has watched multiple episodes several times, gathering clues, often to dispute theories on fansite message boards, or back up their own theories. This person absorbs everything about the show, often keeps notes on episodes, discusses previews with others on websites, and sometimes reads too much into very minor aspects of the show.
--
I am 2, except for the taking notes and reading too much into minor details. :)But I love this show, don't know how I'll wait around for season 3 to start. It's tough enough to wait a week until the finale.

Look for "Bad Twin" by Gary Troup. That's the manuscript the characters were reading on the island. It's an exposé on The Hanso Foundation.

This guy's blog is pretty good. Plus he's got the map.

I like the fact that you can watch the shows in a random order, oppossed to chronological and it doesn't matter at all.
I am watching exclusively through itunes, anyone else opt for dowloading tv?
- CyBrainX0
Judging by the decor, records and look of the guy in the first Hanso Foundation video, the hatch should be called the 60s lounge. Not 80s.
- lnu0
Atcually it has elements from the 60's, 70's 80's 90's and even the 00's (washer & dryer for example).
