Is there a Newstoday RSS feed for any or all posted content?

wow... that would be ugly and tough to look look at. An feed from NTB or PBS would be ok, but the PVN... naw... to much
Oh and I gonna say No to your question.

This seems to come up like once a month. With the same responses everytime.
Do we have a word for this?

I think Jason and the NT team want users to visit the website, and not just reap the news.

the idea with RSS is that you get a snippet of the news encouraging the user to visit the site

plus everyone here would use it on their websites and put one hell of a load on the servers.

(May 16 06, 08:44)Not necessarily. Besides, what would snippets from the PBS look like? Many people don't even bother to put a real description. For what it's worth, there *used* to be a feed but it wasn't around for long.

There are a few more important edits to be made than rss, ie bookmarking iframe threads (easily achieved with location.hash property), searching outside the top message and flagging 'my threads'.
To spare us discussion: this will never happen.I would expect nt under the hood is a developer's nightmare - seams, patches, 'temporary workarounds', etc. Don't you think? :)
The flaws make it annoying and unique and it looks good too (and they're not going to amend the improvements anyway), so wtf :)

(May 17 06, 01:26)Yes - but not on their site! RSS is a problem for some sites which get heavy traffic. Some people just import the RSS without caching that information, and in turn another busy site is kinda stealing bandwidth. NT is flaky at best - RSS would kill it!

if you really want it scrape it
