im shit for watching shows like this .. i watch some of the 1st series then lose interest after a few shows.
have got series one on dvd though and have started watching it.
great quote from tony in one of the first ones ... he's visiting his mum and he's bought her a cd of her favourite artist from yesteryear. she just keeps going on about something jibberish and he comes out with
"i just bought a CD for a broken record"

Vito is a psychopathic mofo. He misses the life so he drives back drunk to see his old haunt and shoot someone...!? He doesn't die, they need him for the movie.
I thought the funniest part was when his BF was behind him in bed and the next scene was a train heading towards a tunnel!

I didn't notice the train part. I think it is funny that the thing that finally made Vito break down and go back was having to work a regular job. I love the one where Tonys lawyer has him spend more time in the office. He goes nuts sitting at a desk all day and the most productive thing he does is organize a football pool. That and the secretary.

I am one of the biggest Sopranos fans there is but I can't help feeling let down by this season so far. Maybe I am expecting too much but nothing has really happened so far. It almost feels like a different show sometimes this season. Maybe a different set of people are working on it.

I'm thinking the exact same thing, seed. They go on and on about Carmela's construction, that Johnny is locked up and 30 minutes of Vito ghey scenes. And that's it.
If somebody who only saw the episode before yesterday asked me what happened in the latest, I would just go "oh, same old stuff"

seed, i'm beginning to agree. two episodes left, and what's happened really? i never would've thought so much of this season would be devoted to vito's sexuality. big deal, who cares? after the first couple of episodes i was beginning to think they were going to build up tony's exit from the family, but perhaps not. i'm hoping they're saving it all for the final 8 episodes coming after this season. i'd like to see him in a villa neighboring that hot chick in italy from season 2(i think?).

you gotta figure that these guys are going to be doing a lot of other things and have grown a little tired of the characters and the media attention.
that can wear out your motivation and overall performance. storylines weren't so hot either
