If our cats have eye issues, we soak a Earl Grey tea bag and use it as a compress. They relax, and seem to find it nice and soothing.

(May 10 06, 19:20)True, my od cat, was thrown three time from the balcony (12 meters) by my brother when he was a child. The first time she maybe suffered a fracture, on the leg, but rested almost immobile for 10 days and then was fine (and never missed a jump)
