i had that book, was wicked!
apparently the 10,000 days artwork has some kind of hidden stuff within the images, the goggles are like magnifying glasses so you can look through them at all the pages in the booklet. apparently the photos of the band fit together in some kind of puzzle, but that's it.

i mean, that's 'not' it, theres something else to it, cant figure it out tho.

the goggles work like the olden days. you won't see anything hidden, only things will be more 3d. the perspective has been slightly altered in each photo so you see things like you would in real life with yr own 2 eyes... sorry, nothing special...

I was just annoyed I couldn't fit it in my cd rack so I went out and killed somebody while looking through the platic glasses.

You just see the images inside the book in 3D...
The packaging for the album is better than the album itself.

this is from the band website...
I'm still getting lots of messages about the stereoscopic photos in 10,000 Days which, by the way, were taken by our good friend and a truly excellent photographer named TRAVIS SHINN. In carefully examining these (as well as the artwork), some of you are beginning to discover things that weren't immediately apparent. Yes, it is true that the four individual photos (of the band members) can be used as the pieces of a kind of puzzle, but for now that's about all I'm going to say. I guess it will just be another nut to crack.
Someone also asked about the clocks and the number 11. I believe the actual time on them is either 1:17 (or 11:07) which I suppose, coincidently, was when the particular photos were taken.
