wheeeeeeeee!
We put in an offer this afternoon for a place..a ridiculously low one...and they countered for only a wee bit more! I guess the couple that own it are surgeons and moved to a place one street down for a bigger yard...have been paying 2 mortgages for 3 months..and just want to sell the place!
A wee bit smaller than we had hoped for...but it is one block from the best public school in denver, and one block from the swimming pool - so Danny is set. We've already met a few kids his age that live on the block.
It's a wee bit smaller than we'd wanted, but they built out and finished the basement which gives us another 400 sq ft.
So stoked...now we just have to sell our place - ark!

Yeah - it's all family at stapleton...bike trails, dog parks, climbing walls...lots of open space and parks..a skatepark!
We're moving there so Danny meets more kids..and because the school there is teh best PS in Denver.
Really excited. I will miss our place..and living so close to downtown...but I am over the downtown lifestyle I think...

Good luck, Jevad, I hope you get it. It's always tense times. I have a friend here in SoCal that is trying to buy a house OVER 100 miles from her work...for nearly half a million dollars.
Real estate out here is insane.

my family is in the process of moving out of the city as well so our little one can can experience the great outdoors like my wife and I did.
plus the house we are looking at is at teh base of the mountain which means more shredding - sweet!

so weird to me that Stapleton is now a pop-up housing development. seems just like yesterday we were flying in and out of there.
what school is that anyway? obviously you also mean the best public elementary school in denver.
