I dont know that's why I'm asking tard. I will be there in like a year or so. is there a real estate bubble there
- e-pill0
that is located in Soho.
beautiful neighboorhoods, large size eloft apts and extremely overpriced if you are looking to live there...you can however find deals as they are out there, i lived on lafayette btween prince and spring streets in a rent stablized apt 1 bedroom for $232 per month...the ave price for an apt in Soho is like $2500+ for a studio or 1 bedroom.this is kinda a guess on the prices but that is it.

who knows. rent it out etc if so

prices in manhattan to buy is faster in growth and return than anywhere else in the 5 boroughs.
what ever prices you see this year or now ...if you are planning for next year look to add at least 7% from that original price at the least.

from my search, crappy hole in soho is about 2000. decent place is about 2500-3000 and thats for studio.
if you go 4000+ than you can get nice small loft.
also, ppl consider anywhere around soho to be soho. like some LES are considered soho and that goes for tribecca also. you really gotta see the place in person. thats why i am having such a hard time finding a place..
and sitll dont have a place to live

dinky if you cant find a place yet than you are looking in the wrong places or you arent asking the correct questions. makes no sense that you havent found something yet.

epill there are alot of great places and great prices. the problem is that i am not there. and ppl dont wanna take a chance on someone who cant see the place in person.
i missed out on some great deals.

there will always be great deals...dont get depressed...you will find a great spot once you realize looking in manhattan alone is not goingto get you apt you may want.

since i am canadian, most of them want 1 yr rent up front..
even for sublet, they want the whole amount and security deposit of 2 months
dont trust canadians eh

so buying a place then chucking it in 10 yrs would be a good investment. fantastical

uber...you turn over a spot in 5years and make more by buying double and then in anout 5 years make even more.
dinky...this sublet idea is the reason i asked you about going to a hotel.
all the problems you are having are manhattan only!!! in brooklyn and queens you will never be asked for such retardedness!!!!
in manhattan for us resident they want 15% of annual rent upfront plus security and deposit...for a crap apt 10 years ago you needed $10k to even considder an apt...its no difference today,,,just you need $15k
:)
