(Apr 27 06, 20:12)LOL- yup. it is 'Larco Mar' you are thinking of. it is cool, although everyone here referrs to it as 'american area' :( the shite is that there is a Hooters, D.Donuts, Tony Roma's, Starbucks, etc...
but awesome views and choice locatio, 1 block from where i am typing these very words....

it was the tourist stop for sure. but, seriously amazing indeed. i think we actually had pizza hut. ha.
we had been in some really rough areas doing medical relief. my wifes in the medical field. we only did the tourist thing on the last day.
and the kids were awesome soccer players. we played in a field full of rocks... and they'd just play the ball all in the air.

(i swear nic, last hijack on yer thread)
that rules man! remember what area(s) you were in? my fiancé is a human rights worker/lawyer here and works in some of the roughest areas everyday as well.
Larco Mar is super-cool, but the pizza hut and such is a bummer. no bother though, that is great to hear you had such a great experience.

i honestly don't remember all the spots we went too... and yeah sorry for the hijacked thread.
ensenada was one of them. honestly the worst was the people under the bridges along the water ways. the kids and adults lived in the holes there on the side of the drainage and sniffed a lot of glue. pretty sad... those folks basically just needed food. and wanted my clothes too. it was pretty rough like i said.
