i bought an ipod
the thing is nice
but the PC software sucks more balls than...a vacuum at a golf course.
Has anyone actually enjoyed being treated like an idiot by a piece of software?
I feel like throwing it out the window, just as soon as I'm allowed to unplug the USB.

what is wrong?i have ipod and pc and love it. i had alot of problems when i was tryng to use it over firewire but went to usb and its been fine

No Shit? The single-reason I've never bought Apple or Sony mp3 players is because of the software interface they force on you.
I mean, I .get. the extra functionality it offers, but really - it's such a faff.
Basic Creative USB dongle players et al are the way to go..

well I avoided it til now but i got sucked in by the screen...and lost my hard drive.
It's said 'do not disconnect' on the screen now for 15 minutes, even after I quit itunes.

a) click eject ipod, wait 15 minutes
b) ipod and itunes crash
c) start menu crashes
d) develop new understanding of why men who wear black turtlenecks are considered assholes.
