nice. i guess there will be others here that do this as well..
i believe that Apple is in most cases a lot more eager to keep up quality standards and consistencies.. but perhaps Steve Jobs just hypnotized me, hehe..
but i will go with apple first and try others later as well!
cheers!
(keep this thread alive, i am curious for more feedback)

i just found out you can change settings and use any font you have for this.. was thinking of giving it a try on a few pages in my first tryout book.
have you ever done this?
____________________no, haven't tried that out yet, i'd be interested to see how it works. I'm wondering if that is only included in iLife, which is iPhoto 6. I only have iPhoto 5.0.4 - not sure all the same features are offered . . . going off to check it out. Will be back to check out the topic later crouwel.

I know, i remember that with just the generic font options. I think not using that feature is best . . . !

do you do the images as rgb or cmyk?

Hey Janne...you can print your own as well for proofing.
Assemble your book to your liking, then hit print. It prepares the file that gets sent to Apple.
Then, from your print window, save the file as a PDF. You can print a proof, email it, whatever.

i did the 3 small books just as a quality check before jumping in and doing a big book.
I like it, for such a small size and price I can't argue. Make great little gifts for family members
just going to do some more photos before making a bigger book
