Finally saw it last night...not bad...not amazing. Is it based on fact or fiction? And the Five Points area that is depicted in the movie - where would that be now?

Haven't seen many films after he did Titanic (haha), but I heard he's a great actor.

Bill the Butcher was a real person, but in Gangs he was a composite of several notorious gangsters of the era.
