Thanks for the info. Those photos look amazing.
Feel free to post more in this thread as you get them.
Thanks for the ebay link too. I was a little weary about ordering from Russia but I'm sure it's no big deal.

I have to look into whether the Holga is a true lomo. I thought the lomo cameras had a special lense. Shooting with the small amount of exposure you get on 120mm can be a pain so I'll probably convert a Holga into a 35mm. They actually have a kit for that now if you don't feel like modifying it yourself.

most of the photos on my site are with the lomo LC-A. this summer i plan on giving it a rest and go 120mm with my TLR camera. Looking foward to it :

I have for sale as good condition as you will get Elikon 535. Known as the poor man's LCA. That's a little harsh because it's an amazing little camera in it's own right. It's box with instructions. Look it up and email me if you like it - loads of shots on Flickr.

LCA - you'll love it.

if you're getting an LCA id pay the rest and get the LCA+, you then have more options for lenses etc

Holga or Diana+ Both fairly cheap and can get some amazing results

Holga and Diana are both 120 - not good for beginners. There are 35mm options available though.

Get a LC-A from Ebay for about £60-80
and get it serviced at a local camera shop.Even if its fuct, you'll still get £50 or something for it from Lomography.com who refurbish them and sell them for hundreds!
If you get an LC-A and want the lenses/attachments for the LC-A+, just write a nice email to Lomography and say you are interested in buying the wide angle lens and wondered if they could send you a LC-A+ Faceplate.
DO some DIY and put the LC-A+ faceplate onto your LC-A :)The wide angle lens IS expensive, but the best extra you can get for these cameras! Once i had it on, i never had it off the camera!

All shot with LC-A (mostly with wide angle lens) and Holga

LC-A
I also have holga but LC-A is the best

My bought my brother a brand new LC-A last year. The packaging looked more expensive than the camera itself...lol
