Dont you wreckon its that 'nothing really super artistic' thing that makes the ad work?

the allstate commercials out now are cool too, the guy who's not watching the road, slams on the brakes, and then goes into super-slo-mo, while the narrator walks through the accident-about-to-happen at normal speed. very cool.

see http://video.google.com/videopla… for source. why does CP+B frequently have a source that they "repurpose"? (see natzke, eric re: spin art)

You're all talking about them so they must be pretty good.
The other night I saw a few of these and had to rewind the TiVo to make sure I saw what I saw.
Brilliantly simple concept brilliantly executed!

shameful.

can't you just rid of crabs by shaving your pubes?

Yes it works,
But it better damned well be right. That kinda advertising provides false hope that you can get into an accident in this car and walk away from it. If they dont have the best safety rating from accidents their just basically immoral bastards in my opinion. Lets hope their on the legit side of things.

hard to watch but good to know

I think it would also work to have an ad start out as a classic car ad, with fancy footage of a beautiful car driving along the coast, or in a beautiful forest with the blu sky and foliage reflected in the windshield and then BAM!
